Thanksgiving Day 2015, Kenny Whittington suffered an ischemic stroke which caused damage to the left side of his body. The journey to recovery has been challenging. But by leaning on his faith in God he has worked towards improving his health. Kenny hopes that by sharing his story, he will encourage others to keep pushing on. It’s important to realize that when one chapter of your life ends that a new begin is just around the corner.

Kenny Whittington

Kenny Whittington lives in Baltimore, Maryland and is an Associate Minister at St. Matthew’s Gospel Tabernacle. Before his stroke he worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service and as a Track Coach for Reginald F. High School in Baltimore City. He now volunteers as a Stroke Mentor at Good Samaritan Hospital and is involved with several support groups.
