Book Details

Are you tired of being tired?

My prayer is that if you are reading this you are obviously searching for a sliver of hope in a hopeless situation. You feel that tugging from deep within you that says you know you were called to do more, to be more, and yet you do not understand. You may even feel that no one hears you when you cry silently in the dark. You feel alone trapped in a world, which does not understand you. You may even feel as I did, that you are an alien lost in a world that you do not feel you belong in; a world of strangers and you do not understand why you are here or where your place is.

Book Excerpt

…cute stories that he told of his little “Debbie Do”, but no one knew of the secrets that were held so tight and so deep by this little girl.

…”I will be a good girl now mommy, I will be a good girl, please do not be mad.”

…If God could take the messed up, shell of a person that I was and make this victim the victor, then how much more could He do for you.

About the Author

Deborah Upton

I am the mother of two children, the grandmother of one very precious little girl, and recently became the wife of a minister. Throughout my life, I have endured various forms of abuse at the hands of those I trusted to protect me. I want my life to be a testimony to those who find themselves struggling to find hope in a world where there seems to be none. Healing the Inner Child has been written in hopes of taking my life experiences and allowing them to show others that you can find healing for that inner child who was forgotten so long ago. My hearts desire is to give that precious forgotten one the voice that has been kept silent.
