Book Details

A delightfully engaging, beautifully written and illustrated short story of Grandad’s quest, by bicycle, to catch-up to his grandchildren as they ride through nearby villages and the local countryside.

Here is a beautifully written short story for children, complete with illustrations, about a grandfather’s quest to catch-up to his grandchildren as he pedals his way through the local villages and countryside. His ride takes him up and down hills so fast, it seems as if he is about to fly. Through a nearby village and back into the countryside he rides, trying all the while to catch the riders in front of him. They always seem to be just out of reach until he finally comes to the top of a hill and finds his grandchildren there waiting to greet him. This is a story you and your child, or grandchild, are sure to enjoy reading. Who knows, it may even inspire a bicycle ride of your own.
