About the Author

Dr. Papijazz

Dr. Papijazz, a 20 year veteran public school music teacher first composed the song “Richard the Rooster” in 2012 as a teaching tool for a special education music class. He decided a few years later to turn the song into a book. He holds a Doctor of Music Arts degree from Boston University. He resides in upstate NY with his wife of 34 years and works as a free lance musician when not tending to chores around the farm.
