As their world gets turned upside=down deep love and determination win out.
"Things were going along so well, then all of a sudden it's some kind of hell!" The cover drawing of the family by the youngest child at the age of 8, and the above lines from a poem in the book describe the confusion and fear as mental illness took over the beautiful mind of the father of the family. Determination and courage underscored with deep love, humor, and growth bring this family of six children through sad and perplexing times to become strong successful individuals. This is written in the hope that anyone feeling the isolation a crisis brings might draw strength from our story.
