About the Author

Teresa Ferguson

Teresa Ferguson has been an ESOL Lead Teacher in Cobb County for over eleven years, and was Teacher of the Year in 2004-05. She has presented her games at the KSU, TLCF, GATESOL, and the SETESOL Conferences for several years, as well as during various Professional Development Trainings. Each time, she has gotten a tremendous response from teachers, administrators and colleagues alike. In 2014, Teresa was chosen as "Best of Affiliates" by GATESOL to present at the International TESOL in Portland, OR. Prior to teaching ESOL, Teresa taught art for five years and worked as a graphic artist before that. She earned her Ed.D. in Teacher Leadership at Walden University. She also wrote and illustrated the book ABC’s from the Book of Life (1991). Teresa is the wife of Nick Ferguson and the mother of three incredible children: Ashley, Landon, and Amanda.
