Dorothy K. Kardas was born in Znin, Poland; immigrated to the United States in 1981, and was granted U. S. citizenship in 1989. The author’s literary output is multi-genre: prose literature and poetics. Prose is mostly employing expository, descriptive and persuasive essays, whereas poetical material contains the application of a variety of techniques to maintain powerful emotions in satirizing human folly and conveying unchanging theological, moral and philosophical insight or message. The author’s books include: The Gaping Door: The Search for Truth and Love, The Divine Gage, The Voice of Thunder: Footsteps to Light, and The Tread of Death: Tragic End to Divine Favor. Her poetic works have been published in numerous national, international publications and on several websites. The author holds a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and Theology.
