Tony Bunts is the author of Loving Da Gale and Estância Del Pérez. He grew up a preacher’s kid. As a child, he lived throughout Texas and New Mexico. As an adult, he lived in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. He was a high school All American Football player, a farmhand, a ranch hand, a plumber’s helper, a surveyor, electrician, farmer, miner, forestry contractor, auction representative, real estate investor and real estate broker. He is pictured here with Jeanie Ford, who helped edit this book. She is Mi Amor and best friend and was highly instrumental in encouraging the writing of Estancia Del Perez

Estância Del Pérez is the story of a young man in the late 1800s, who was abruptly elevated to the Don of a large agricultural enterprise, that included both farming and cattle ranching along the northern borders of Chihuahua and Sonora. As a young man in his early 20s, he was tasked with being the head of a family and ranch. It was his job to plot the future of all of the employees and his family against the constant threat of cattle thieves and the sure knowledge that revolution in Mexico was certainly impending.
