This is the first book by Leslye Holleman, she started off writing it for her kids and grandkids because she wanted them to have a fun memory with it being a true story, she thought it would be nice to pass down the story of their Uncle Jerry and his squirrel. The time span from when Jerry brought the baby squirrel home and finally said good bye to her was about 7 years.
