About the Author

John Allen Briggs

John Allen Briggs is the son of John Earl Briggs and a grandson of John Ransburgh Briggs. John Ransburgh Briggs was the second son of Joseph M. Briggs and Louisana Ransburgh Briggs. John Allen Briggs had the good fortune of being born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, but has resided in Northern California since 1957. Nevertheless, he has never strayed from his strong Buckeye roots and sound Pine Tree (Maine) shoots. He is blessed with many fond memories of Louisana Ransburgh Briggs (Granny) and her progeny.
