True friendships last forever. In this magical adventure, based in part on a true story, four-year-old Zach struggles with the loss of his special friend and uncle, Doug. But when imaginary Dougie Dragonfly comes to life, he comforts Zach and teaches him how to cope with sadness and grief. Zach and Dougie soar through the air, recall special memories and journey through the healing process together. In the end, Zach realizes that uncle Doug will live in his heart forever.

“Uncle Doug, can you fly?” asks Zach. “Yes, Zach, I sure can!” exclaims Dougie. “Wow, that is so cool!” says Zach. “Zach, how would you like to go for a ride? It would be an adventure!” says Dougie. “Yeah, let’s go!” shouts Zach. “Don’t be afraid, just close your eyes and don’t open them until I tell you.” Dougie explains. Zach closes his eyes tight and the adventure begins.
