Dark Skin, Light Skin, Straight or Nappy is a character educational coloring book for all children and the adults in their lives. Although this book is about African-American children, it encourages all children to be confident in who they are and what they look like.

Book Excerpt

African-Americans have different hair textures, different colors, and different lengths. Sometimes their hair is straight, curly, coarse (nappy), wavy, black, brown, red, blond, short, medium or long. Some African-Americans’ hair even draws up shorter when it gets washed or wet because of its texture: and that’s not a bad thing.
