Ford Simpson is a cardiac and vascular surgeon in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He received his MD degree from the UAB Medical School in Birmingham, his General Surgery training in Charleston, South Carolina and his cardiothoracic experience at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. He is Board certified in Thoracic Surgery. He is married with two daughters. Having lived in Tuscaloosa most of his life, he uses his hometown and the hospital where he operates each day as the setting of his stories.
