Betty Hermelee was inspired to write this novel by some of the stories about her ancestors, who moved from Hungary to the United States at the turn of the 20th century. Betty is an artist, a painter of impressionistic works that have been exhibited, and she is currently working on a poetry collection. Cool Joe’s Redemption is her debut novel.
