She played the hand she was dealt and at the end.. this was one Cookie that never crumbled.

A mother, mentor, entrepreneur a former foster child, and now an author.



As CEO of Future Talent & Entertainment and Founder of Humphrey House Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educate, empower and inspire children at risk; Cookie knows what it takes to rise from a victim to victory.



What may have been an alternative to her unfortunate childhood, turned into new beginnings’ which offered her a second chance at life. Westover Job Corps Center in Chicopee, MA, is where she received that second chance while taken advantage of every opportunity presented, she also gained self confidence, education, vocational and life skills, which transformed her into the person she is today. Several years after graduating from the program, Cookie started her career in Counseling working for the same place that offered her a new start (JOB CORPS) she also worked closely with the HR, Education, Career Development, Dorm Life and the Recreational aspects of the program and lived by the Job Corps motto: “Success Last a Lifetime with Job Corps”



Education and empowerment of the youth are priorities that have dominated Cookie’s professional and personal life. As a children’s advocate, she speaks passionately about education, self-esteem, career development, gangs, violence and maintaining healthy relationships.



Cookie holds a B.S. degree from Springfield College in Human Services and a M.S. in Counseling and Human Resources Development from the University of Bridgeport, and is completing her PhD at Capella University. Academically, Cookie has a wide variety of interest and incorporates them into her career as an consultant and entrepreneur; and is regularly invited to share her childhood story, life experiences, and accomplishments with varies social service and non-profit agencies, schools, colleges and church ministries.
