THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN MONEY-SAVING IDEAS

Thomas A. Westerkamp’s Community Association Manager’s Standard Manual & Guide meets the ever-growing demand for a practical guide to association organization, management, operation, and control. The value of U.S. homeowners’ associations is $5.88 trillion and climbing. The 345,000 associations, providing homes for over 20% of the population, an all-time high, have seen the standards, codes, laws, and management grow more complex and challenging every year. Boards, property managers, real estate agents, those providing day-to-day association services, teachers and students must keep up with this mass of data. Case law shows that courts more favorably decide lawsuits against associations when board members have more education to back informed decisions.

Subject matter includes organization, law, finance, maintenance, maintenance services, security, and strategic planning, and includes a reserve study overview.

“A great resource and I look forward to using it to help make us better.” – Cory Tanzer, Broker/Founder, Option Realty Group

“Seamlessly integrates the many components of association management. Westerkamp does an excellent job defining a blueprint for developing and implementing a long-term strategic plan.” – Matt Martin, Reserve Advisors
