Dr. Christie Chamblis Murray wrote this book to share her college planning experiences with others to help scholars get accepted into college and find funding. She is a lifelong scholar who attended Hampton University on a scholarship and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. While attending Hampton, Dr. Murray became a member of the Gamma Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, a Master degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, and a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
