Book Details

Leading volunteers is the most difficult aspect of Christian leadership —unless you have the right tools.

If you want a dynamic team to do the work you’ve been called to do, you’ll need a stellar set of tools. Hoping for things to improve or spending more time on the job isn’t the answer. You can either wonder why you aren’t accomplishing all that you envisioned when you started, or you can identify and learn to employ the leadership tools great leaders use—all found in Christian Leadership. Inside these pages, you will find nothing but clear teachings from the Word of God. Through the Bible—the greatest instruction manual in the world—God recorded his leadership mandates and illustrated their use in the lives of the characters you undoubtedly already know very well. Christian Leadership will not only help you become a better leader but give you a resource to help train the people you recruit to your leadership team. The chapters can easily be converted into teaching outlines. After all, nothing helps you master material faster than teaching it to others. Let’s get started!

About the Author

Jeff Wade

Jeff Wade is a native of West Virginia. As a teenager, he joined the United States Navy and earned his bachelor’s degree while serving on active duty as an enlisted sailor. He was later selected for commissioning as an officer and earned a Doctor of Biblical Studies degree while continuing his military service. He retired from the Navy in 1994 after 23 years of service. Dr. Wade became a Christian as a teenager soon after joining the Navy and quickly answered his call to preach. In the years that followed, he started two churches and served on numerous church staffs in a variety of roles, including youth pastor, Sunday school superintendent, choir director, associate pastor, military ministry director, Bible institute president, and senior pastor. He has authored two previous books. After the Sinner’s Prayer, published in 1994, discusses what new Christians need to know after accepting Christ. In 2005 he published First Traitor, which was awarded the Gold Medal by the American Society of Military Writers as the best military fiction novel of the year.
