Cheers is a story of a sleepy little town in Port Salerno, Florida, right on the picturesque Manatee Pocket where you can come and enjoy some of the finest restaurants, great food, musicians and some of the best people you will ever meet. In my book “Cheers” I share some history of the Port Salerno area, name all the restaurants and bars that are all in walking distance from each other. I also talk about some of the best entertainment you will ever find, but most of all I tell some of the funniest stories of my friends that I have encountered over the years, who now have now become family.

 

About the Author

Patricia McCrain

Patricia McCrain was born in Flushing, New York and moved to Florida when she was ten. She made her home later in the Port Salerno area for over 42 years now. Patricia is currently working for the Martin County School District and has a highly successful side dog business. This is Patricia’s 3rd book and one of her favorites, because she talks about a place, she calls home “The Manatee Pocket” and her favorite restaurant “The Manatee Island bar and Grill”.
