Book Details

There were many before our time that magnified God and had faith in him. The true God that directed them whether it was a problem in their life that was in need of direction or to win battles against their enemies. And those that didn’t magnify him were abase or killed and the ones that weren’t destroyed recognized that there is no greater God than he is. God is the creator of all things. He has mercy and compassion to all when we put him first in our lives and to magnify him will bring great satisfaction to the praiser as to the receiver.

My book has 29 beautuful images included taking in different cities in Texas; Galveston, Houston, Sugar Land, Guy, Rosenberg, Edna, Port Lavaca and Matagorda.

An extra bonus included are my poems.

Book Excerpt

Jehoshaphat king of Judah had received information that a big army was coming to war with them. He had gotten fearful because he knew he couldn’t possibly stand against such a big army and he knew they would be defeated without the help of God.
   So Jehoshaphat pursued the Lord and he told the people that everyone should fast. And the town congregated to ask help from the Lord. Jehoshaphat was magnifying God telling him that he is the God of their fathers, and the God in the heavens, the God who rules over all the kingdoms around the world in who has great power and might, and there is none that can stand against him.
   And if there were ever to be evil as a sword, a judgment, or pestilence, or famine; we come before you to seek your help; as we are in their affliction that you will hear and help inflict deserved punishment upon those who are wrong towards them or their enemies; as it was a great multitude of an army coming to have war with them and they didn’t know what to do, but only to look up to him.
   And the Lord heard them and his Spirit came down in the middle of the congregation and told them to listen and have no fear and do not be troubled on account of this great army; tomorrow go down against them; they will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. They won’t have to fight, just be in position and stand still and they will see that the salvation of the Lord is with them. Then King Jehoshaphat and all Judah and all the people of Jerusalem gave worship to the Lord, falling down before him.
   They got up early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa as the Lord had instructed them, and Jehoshaphat told all the people to have faith in the Lord God as he will keep them safe and all will go well for them. So, singers were appointed to praise the Lord for his beauty of holiness and the people went out before the army and began to praise the Lord singing; ‘praise the Lord for his mercy endures forever’. And as they were doing this they looked toward the watch tower in the wilderness and seen dead bodies lying everywhere because God had set ensnarement’s where their enemies were not able to escape.
   And they went to gather up their dead enemy’s goods which took three days. And it was still many things left behind because it was so much. And on the fourth day they got together to bless God in the valley of Berachah. And when they returned to Jerusalem, they all praised God with their voices, harps and trumpets as they seen Jehoshaphat was on his knees, face to the ground worshipping God. {2 Chronicles. 20}
