Bumblebee Day is a time of fun and fellowship for the creatures of the sunshine bathed, flower filled garden they call home. Everyone from Honey Sun and Lady Zenia, to Speedy Turtle and Bumblebee Queen Mary Biz, are looking forward to the annual garden gala. There will be tours of Mr. Moleby’s underground castle, Bumblebee air races and bareback rides and much more. While planning for the day, Lady Zenia remembers the close call of one year ago. She recounts how Dashing Dragonfly and his squadron bravely defended the realm against the powerful, invading Cuckoo Bee.

Terry Downey McDaniel is a homemaker, artist and writer. Born in Bethesda, MD, Terry graduated from Holy Cross Academy, attended art school and started her own business creating and marketing ceramic jewelry. After marrying an Air Force pilot, she and her late husband, Bill, raised five children, and after twenty two plus moves, settled on the beautiful Florida panhandle where she now resides.
