Barry Patterson

About the Author: Barry Patterson is a Hall of Fame Coach who has been involved with athletics for over 45 years. From 2001–2009, he was the head wrestling coach at Cushing High School, where he coached 49 state placers and 20 individual state champions, and his teams won six dual state championships to go along with three traditional state championships. In 2002, 2004, and 2005, Patterson was named as 3a Wrestling Coach of the Year. In 2005, Patterson was named the National Wrestling Coaches Association Oklahoma Coach of the Year. In 2009, Barry Patterson took over as the athletic director at Cushing High School in Cushing Oklahoma.
