Book Details

A professional is placed in a church support group following a heart attack. He is unexpectedly drawn to a female group member; they work near each other, and begin to meet. Soon they discover notable professional and spiritual differences, take a holiday to evaluate the plausibility of their friendship. Both are married, and when he’s selected as a deacon, there are concerns about appearances at church. Things only get worse as they try to decide, and he suffers a sequence of “unusual” events, both positive and negative, before discovering a surprising ally!
