Book Details

Explore the Issues of the Most Challenging Conflict in Our World Today

The Israeli Palestinian Conflict has been the most controversial, intractable conflict of the last century. Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs both want the same land, with each side deeply divided over how to make it work, and world leaders have tried to solve the conflict countless times. Many solutions have been proposed—and failed. What is it that makes this dispute so difficult to resolve?

Broken Promises eloquently presents a new way to look at the Israeli Palestinian Conflict, examining how each stage of this conflict affected Israeli and Palestinian societies and introducing ways in which both narratives—Israeli and Palestinian—interact and condition the responses of each side.
