Book Details

You don’t need to stay Broken; you are worth rebuilding yourself the way you are meant to be, with meaning, value, and purpose.

Badly bleeding and hazy, Michelle awakens in her car on the side of the road with police and their spotlights pointed directly on her. She was met with piercing sounds of chaos. We find out that Michelle is a 34-year-old mother of two, who has been an alcoholic for three years. This illness sucker-punched her just in time to realize she was living her whole life on the surface and was never reaching deep enough to understand or love herself.

Broken is a Gift follows Michelle through painful and inspiring experiences that lead to her lowest point, she is faced with a decision to give up completely, or fight. She fights. Starting with the acceptance of herself, she forgives and rebuilds a life she doesn’t need to take a break from.

Through gut-wrenching self-discovery, we see her start to put the pieces of her broken life together for the first time. With a solid foundation, her growth is limitless. She realizes life was supposed to happen this way, she was meant to be broken, she was meant to rebuild, and now she lives her life out loud with meaning and purpose while sharing what she has learned with others.
