Bill & Jessie's House

by Joyce Keating

Book Details

Bill and Jessie own a huge old home in Washington, DC’s trendy area of Georgetown. They invite Morgan, their 33 year old niece and her husband Anders, to house sit for nine days while they vacation in London. Morgan is elated with the offer since as a stay-at-home mom for 4 year old Tyler, she feels stuck and about to lose her mind. She figures this close to home change of venue may be just the thing she needs to keep her sanity. Anders is less inclined to accept the offer but he is willing. “After all,” he said, “it’s not every day you get to spend time in a ‘gen-u-ine’ haunted house.” He said this in jest of course, for he refuses to give credence to the idea of hauntings of any kind, anywhere. Things happen in the house that will make a readers hair stand on end. And these things escalate as pages are turned. To say this is an over the top exciting, who’s-around-the-corner read, is an understatement.
