DJ Ricks was born in Rocky Mount, NC but is more of a Washingtonian; I have lived in Washington, over 40 years and consider Washington my home. I attended Strayer College in Washington, DC from 1968 to early seventies. Strayer University in Pennsylvania in 2008 and worked in the field of accounting over 35 years. I volunteered many years to help the homeless and other agencies because I love giving a helping hand to the needy. I have two daughters, two grandchildren and one great grand child. I am at peace with myself because I am as important as the stars.
