About the Author

Sandra A. Murray

I grew up along the shoreline and had beaches, marshlands, woods and close-knit neighborhoods as my stomping grounds. I had always dreamed of writing stories. When I was still very young, I wrote and illustrated a small book about the adventures of two children that were picked up and taken back to the nest of a very large eagle that had come to their town. I didn’t do much for a long time, then I began to write poems and short stories. I decided to take a course at The Institute for Children’s Literature. That changed my whole life as far as writing is concerned. I have been writing on two online sites and entering in contests. As a result, I have several books to be published. I am really enjoying writing the children’s stories. I hope you and your children enjoy reading them.
