Thoughts and Poems

Book Details

Because I Couldn’t Sleep by Dennis White takes the reader on an emotive journey of heartaches, breakthroughs, and everything in between.

Through soulful poetic storytelling and philosophical insights, this poet compassionately connects readers to a wide spectrum of human emotion while awakening their psyche to insomnia-induced feeling states. By the final poem, you will come to realize that “we are works of art.” Needless to say, this collection of poignant poems belongs on each poetry lover’s nightstand to serve as their trusty companion during those sleepless nights or days of unyielding restlessness. I see your reflection across the sky so clear as though you are here. I’ll drift with the wind and chase the clouds and on some September day I’ll find you again.
