About the Author

Shana Renee' Burris

Shana Renee' Burris is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was educated within the East Baton Rouge Parish School system and is an alumnus of Xavier University of Louisiana. Born to a Baptist Minister, Reverend Charles Lee Burris Sr. PhD. (now deceased), and Mrs. Earnestine Jackson Burris, Shana maintains her creative gene and imagination as the direct result of having these two Educators -and her two charismatic siblings- as her family nucleus. The author insists her strong Christian faith and unyielding belief in Christ has and will continue to serve, as both her anchor and part of her artistic inspiration. Including authoring children's books, Shana is also a promising screenwriter and versatile illustrator.
