ANTHONY S. CHO A Tribute to the KING OF KINGS

“A Tribute to the King of Kings” is a book written for the glorification of our Lord Jesus Christ. This book asks the question, “How can I say thanks for the things He has done for me and you?” (My Tribute by Andree Crouch) The wonder of His Power and Wisdom is accentuated in this book. One can learn how to follow Jesus by loving others, and how to serve Him first and the others that are around us. We learn how to live each day, every moment, in His presence, and in His dwelling inside of us. We must focus our energy and devotion solely upon Jesus, and NOT to get immersed into the things of this world with its temptations and pleasures. The importance of studying the Word of God, prayer, praise, thanksgiving, and worship are elaborated in detail in this book. Having a personal relationship with Jesus, and getting to know Him better are two of the main goals of this book. Also remember that the battle is NOT yours; it is the Lord’s. Jesus is our Best Friend. We need to have a relationship with Him.

Book Excerpt

No matter what our history may be, Jesus can cleanse us and forgive us of all of our offenses. The beauty of our salvation is that we need only to believe in Him, and the work that He has done through the Cross. Don’t believe Satan’s lie that we are beyond hope, and that God cannot, or will not help us any longer. Have you ever felt utterly hopeless, and wanted to die? This only means that your faith needs to be stronger. If confronted with ideas of suicide, think about this: “By having a reverence for life, we enter into a spiritual relation with the world. By practicing reverence for life, we become good, deep, and alive.”2 Remember- there is nothing impossible for God. What two things can we do to get assistance from God? First, it is a deep, sincere prayer for supplication. Prayer must be immediate and to the point. Also, during the prayer session, one must believe that God exists, and that He is the Almighty God, the Lord of Hosts, The Lord mighty in battle. When engaged in a serious spiritual battle, it is essential that we trust in God for victory, because He is a God of war. The second thing is to meditate and to study the Bible, especially the special verses of spiritual combat found in Psalms, Proverbs, and the 1st and 2nd Samuel. The Bible teaches strong faith, the Loving Nature of God, discipline, and the display of the Omnipotence of the Almighty

About the Author

Anthony S. Cho

My name is Anthony S. Cho. I was born in Inchon, South Korea in 1964. My undergraduate education was completed at the Johns Hopkins University, and my graduate studies were done at the University of Maryland. At present I serve as a Deacon at my church, the Everlasting Love United Methodist Church in Glen Burnie. I am planning to study at the Wesley Theological Seminary in the future, so that I can minister unto God’s people. I have been raised in a Christian family. My grandfather and father were both ministers. I have worked as a Science Researcher, teacher, tutor, and professional writer. I plan to serve at least three years for the second generation Korean-Americans who speak English as their first language. I also have plans to join a missionary to teach, preach, and give aid to those that are less fortunate than we are.
