Searching For A Place In The World

The 1960's was a decade of dramatic change and civil unrest, not only in the United States, but throughout the entire world. This book is a collection of poems written during these years that reflect my emotions and the conflict of the times. They show love, hate, fear, frustration, and hope.

About the Author

Randall Gibson Callin

What started as an assignment in a high school English class, writing poems came to help me deal with the turmoil throughout my teenage years. I've kept them pretty much hidden away for nearly fifty years, but my high school sweetheart and wife, Wendy, has encouraged me to bring them out of the closet and share them with all. Wendy and I were married in 1970 and have raised three children together. Fortunately, our children (and grandchildren) still live near us in Rochester, NY. I'm now happily retired after a long career in educational media, but continue to work as a real estate agent with my wife when we're not out exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes region we live in.
