About the Author

DorisMae Honer

Doris Mae Honer was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada, at the peak of that gold mining town’s history. Her parents and Grandparents were of Irish and Scottish heritage, and brought with them the wonders, strengths and mystiques of both those countries. She is described by her sister Margaret, and by others who know her, as Intelligent, Spiritual, Loyal, Compassionate, Loving, Intuitive and a real Warrior Spirit in the face of adversity. She was a Registered Nurse for thirty five years, then returned to school, obtaining a Diploma in Recreation, and later a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music Recreation for Special Populations. She started her own business and brought music into the lives and facilities of the Mentally Challenged, Physically Disabled and the Elderly Populations. She wrote this book at the urgings of her Granddaughter Hope, and includes Spiritual experiences of others as well as her own. She hopes that the many lessons she has learned on her journey will assist others to believe in themselves and to be thankful for the many gifts of the Universe which promote their own Spiritual growth. She hopes her readers will also recognize the immense influence of our Spiritual Guides, directed by our Universal God who loves us all.
