I was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Milford and Miriam Latson and educated in the District of Columbia and Prince Gorgeous County, Maryland, public school systems. I served three years of active duty, and three years as reserves in the U.S. Navy, I served twenty-four years, eleven months as a Capitol Hill Police Officer. I married Tanya Latson, my soul mate, and spiritual partner. Together we have enjoyed a spiritual journey of raising children and living life on life terms all the ups and downs. The most beautiful gift is having someone to grow and learn together along your spiritual path. My spiritual journey started as a Christian Baptist. Over the years, I have read and studied lots of books on religion and Spirituality. After attending study groups and seminars and doing my research, I conclude that all organized religions come from Spirituality. I do not intend to challenge anyone’s beliefs; there is no right or wrong; it’s about what makes you whole. We all answer to a higher power, may you find yours now.
