"My full call came however at an intercessors’ retreat in Jamaica, March 17-20, 1990. Esther Ilnisky was the guest speaker. I was called with a few other leaders to a meeting on the first night in which we were asked to assist in ministry the following morning. I left the meeting disturbed and wondering why I was included because only hours before coming to the retreat I was battling with God; not feeling worthy; tired of my struggles with the flesh; disappointed that I had not had some breakthroughs, especially in my mind, which I had been asking God to do for years. I did not feel prepared in any way to assist but something inside kept telling me not to run away; instead, to just keep talking to God and being truthful as I had been.
