So you thought you knew yourself. Well, look again.

It seems as though mankind and the scientific community have always searched for the answers to endless questions that have attempted to define what this ape-like entity called a human, might, in reality, actually be. In the book we will cover questions such as, how does the human form develop the required platform allowing for the creation of its independent believed reality. What are the tools that it uses in its attempt to self-assemble a resultant human being that is envisioned from having direct access to itself. What possible purpose and function might this human form serve while on the planet earth, is it conscious, is it aware, and what actually is consciousness and awareness? I felt as though it would be interesting to look at these questions, and many others, from an entirely different viewpoint. During my years teaching science I always found myself looking for an alternate way to better convey the various concepts found in the yearly curriculum. Simply my attempt to express basic scientific concepts in a more meaningful, straightforward, and receptive manner to the students. I believe that the many years spent reprogramming myself to this altered approach has guided me to writing A Reflection of Being. The book considers many of mankind’s age-old questions with the idea of presenting them from my altered, yet straightforward, viewpoint.

About the Author

Gary Tishler

I started my early working years teaching science and found true enjoyment in that profession. I later found myself involved with my own business in the computer and communications industry. The experience that I was exposed to established that not only was our future world going to move forward on the backs of computers, but it would take humans that were almost computer-like, to make it all happen. It seemed evident that computers and their human masters were all data-driven entities ultimately speaking the same language. The book takes a very detailed look at just how the human form operates from the point of it being a slave to the world of data input and output. Following the work process I found myself retired on the island of Maui. This escape from the hectic work world led to a life of magical contemplation that allowed me to see human forms, and all forms in general, in an entirely altered viewpoint. This change of insight eventually gave rise to this little book that I have titled A Reflection of Being. ENJOY.
