Starting a small business in 1979 that has grown into a corporation with approximately forty employees, some who have worked for the corporation for over thirteen years along with a career as a college professor, Dr. Lemons has a lifetime of experience working with employees, clients, customers, students and administration. Because of his research in “Appreciative Input Management”, he has had the opportunity to speak at conferences in India in 2011, Scotland in 2013 and others in the United States. He has worked with and put some time in leadership positions and was the president for a non-profit regional fair association in West Texas with approximately sixty five members raising money for college scholarships. He was awarded “Man of the Year in Texas Agriculture” in 2015 for his work in Agriculture Education in Texas and he is particularly proud of his “Excellence in Teaching Award” that he received in 2015 from the National Society of Leadership and Success along with many other awards. He continues to research and learn about the best techniques to positively lead and manage organization for success.
