An Ethical Road to Success

We’re all aware that in many cases, development leads to misappropriation of resources, and marginalization of the very people it should be helping. What is the solution to the widespread problem of unequal distribution of resources and opportunities? You have it in your hands: the Community Development Enterprise (CDE) development model, which is focused on the Rights Approach. CDE proposes a solution to sustainable development that is a cross between decentralization and microbusiness models. It ensures a shift from centralized development to community development, through a process that facilitates establishment and strengthening of community relationships. It shifts concepts of development away from the strictly economic and provides people-centered solutions that are real and durable. This development model is shaped by the government and driven by a pioneering private sector to create a broad sector of productive middle-class workers who will enjoy improved standards of living through increased productivity and availability of high-wage jobs. Practical, proven, compassionate, and pragmatic, A New Approach to Sustainable Development is a powerful tool for economic and social justice.
