Diane Horan has worked in the travel industry her entire adult life. Her career began in 1974 as a retail travel advisor and later, a travel agency manager. She studied at TWA Breech Training Academy and in 1981 was among the first travel advisors to earn a CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) from The Travel Institute (formerly the Institute of Certified Travel Agents). In 1986, she established Creative Travel Marketing, which provided marketing services for prestigious travel suppliers including AmaWaterways. She began representing AmaWaterways in 2008 and moved into a full-time position in 2011. She currently is Director, Strategic Partner Networks for AmaWaterways. Diane’s love of travel came from family vacations that her parents planned each and every year. It is something that is a part of her and a passion that continues to this day.
