These poems are the vessel through which my inner self speaks. Poetry has been a tool for me to self express and release energy whether it be positive or negative. I was always afraid of sharing my work because my poems have been the most honest and purest form of me. There was comfort in being hidden, vulnerability wasn’t my strong suit. I found the courage to create, Dear Self. I hope you can resonate with this book and find your voice to speak your truth. There’s beauty in vulnerability, use it as inspiration and create.
