Book Details

Surviving teenage angst, military boredom, and a predictably unpromising future, twenty-six-year-old Harry Finn is pursuing a new beginning. As a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State, Harry is posted to the American Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, as an economics officer, unaware that a bureaucratic error has labeled him a covert CIA Operative. A misread social invitation leads to the meeting of a family member, long thought a victim of WWII, now living in Cairo as a French tailor under an alias identity.

Egyptian President Gamal Nasser’s nationalization of the Suez Canal gave rise to the seizing of all financial assets for the canal's global usage. Great Britain, France, and Israel allied in retaliation, historically known as Operation Three Musketeers. Harry receives critical information from a most unlikely source and assists in evacuating 1200 ex-pat Americans from the Suez War.
