Violetra Ward is a native of Jacksonville, Florida; the mother of one son, Reginald O.Ward (Kimberly) and has two beautiful grandchildren. She is also a biblical scholar and member of Julington Baptist Church where she serves in the capacities of: Sunday School Teacher, Church Training Coordinator and Dean of the Church Bible College. She is the author of Joy Cometh in the Morning (2016) and The Dawn of A New Day (2017).
