Book Details

The title comes from a ridiculous little skit put on by the graduating class at Parkside Elementary School in June, 1954. I suppose this little book will be classified as an “autobiography” if for no other reason than I am the narrator and all the experiences described in it reflect my point of view. Some will claim it’s a work of fiction because they will suspect that I made up some of these stories or embellished them in some important ways. Mark Twain once said “Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities. Truth isn’t.” The only parts I’m not certain about are some of the “who said whats” and some of the “facts” that were reported to me by others that I was unable to check for accuracy. But I’m absolutely confident that 99% of what’s in these pages happened as described. Unfortunately there are no videotapes.
