Patrick Kennedy is a new author. He was born in 1951 and was raised in North Hollywood, California. As a child, growing up in the innocence of the 50’s and as teenager during the changing attitudes of the 60’s, his perception of life was somewhat jaded. This is reflected in his sense of humor and generally in his outlook on life. Because he has never written or published a book before, there is not much you can reference to find out what kind of author he is. As a child he was completely fascinated with science fiction and horror movies. As most kids his age, he was drawn to monster movies of all kinds and heavily influenced by the visual effects of Ray Harryhausen, Willis Obrien and other film makers of that time. Later, he also found an interest in fantasy art, such as the art of Frank Frazetta and those that emulated his style. With Patrick’s slant on life, his demented sense of humor and his story telling style, he just might become an author you want to follow.
