Lloyd Sherman, a landscape and wildlife photographer, has called the Adirondacks his home for many years, and so it is with mixed feelings that he decides to move to the Rocky Mountains and expand on his photography. Lloyd and his fiancée Donna Brown, a psychologist, share a love of horses, creating an ideal relationship—but one that is threatened by mystery and intrigue. When Donna is forced off the road and over an embankment and her best friend turns up missing, life takes an interesting, dangerous turn for the couple.

 

About the Author

Edward Friedman

Edward Friedman grew up in the beautiful Shawangunk Mountains of New York State, a few miles from Lake Minnewaska. He spent much of his life roaming the Catskills and Adirondacks before retiring in the Rocky Mountains. The mountains have had a hold on him throughout his life, along with horses and photography. After retiring from the construction field, Edward began to write short stories, leading to his debut novel, Horsing Around at Bear Creek. Ed now lives in Florida with his wife and has swapped his horse for a bicycle.
