The Beat That Wasn't There is about a Teddy bear owned by a girl named Megan who lost her favorite toy, a Teddy Bear. The bear is lost by her and found by the first in a series of children who each in turn also in advertently misplaced the bear but it is found by yet another child.

Cheryl Charanian

The author was born in Chicago and attended The Art Institute of Chicago. In 1991, she was accepted into the Experimental Animation Department at Cal Arts.
