Book Details

Don’t just be good to others.
Be good to yourself, first.

The best place to see progress is in the wide-open space. It is like starting on the beach in your rowboat and you want to get to the other side of the lake. You start rowing and rowing and rowing. You look forward and see that you have a lot more lake to row across and feel like you haven’t made any progress and are never going to get to the other side. Your perspective is wrong. Turn around… look how far you have rowed. You have made progress from where you started. Reflective journaling can bring you out of the weeds into the open water.
