SPIRITUALITY VS. MORAL AND RELIGIOUS CONTROL-WHICH WILL PREVAIL DURING TIMES OF TRUE STRUGGLE? I CHOOSE SPIRITUALITY

Comprised of suspense, young romance, excitement, thrills and healing, this book probes into the life of a young girl's struggle while rearing what many called, her immoral bastards. Maureen battles between the weight of moral and religious oppressions placed upon her by those around her. She later, however, heals herself and those who taunted her throughout her experience, namely her adult rival, James Bishop Brichette-a man she came to know as Bishop Breach. Enter the world of Maureen's vast experiences and watch her transform from a broken girl into a woman overflowing with true spirituality. If not for her bastards, as many called them, she would have never arrived such sweet peace.

Book Excerpt

“My feet are not my feet. Neither are my hands of my own. My urges therefore are not my own belonging, for there is yet a Higher Power to whom I indirectly afford these. Though others may not agree, and though to them I had sinned, God knows with whom He shall put together to form yet another living soul He wills to have put on Earth. No one arrives this world by accident! My urge to be with Kyle was not my own, neither was it a bad decision. The longing I had for him was neither of my own wrongful determinations. If not for the gathering I would have little to no reason for survival and if not for this moment, I would have never seen God so vividly as I have seen Him in all my days. Thus this moment, this event, was patterned for my own will and with these I hold to such awe as the God who gave all to me. This was my experience destined for me and was going to happen whether I wanted it to or not.”
