About the Author

Revilo M. Houston

Revilo M. Houston is a new author, and over the years, he has written mind’s provoking mementos that he shared with family and friends as he too dealt with spiritual and personal challenges. His mother, who shared with him that there is nothing like prayers to get him through life’s provocations, laid the foundation for his growth. During one of his darkest moments, while at work, he glanced down at a plaque that was given to him by his mother, and at that precise moment, the words meant more than ever before. The plaque read: “Lord, help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and I together can’t handle.” That was when My Lighthouse is Not a Building was manifested in his soul, and he found that strength to carry on.
