Book Details

Over 10,000 Miles Alone on a Motorcycle During a Pandemic

This book allows the reader to follow the 10,268-mile, 26-day, motorcycle journey by the author traversing 29 states while completing two of the four longest US highways in the process – US 50 and US 20. In addition, the author also completed several other US highways on his bucket list, hopefully, the subject of another book or two on motorcycle adventures. All this at 65 years of age and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The book takes a look at our great country through the vantage point of traveling on two wheels in the wide open spaces, so to speak. Many of the included photos are extracted from thousands captured by a “dash cam” mounted on the handlebar as well as those taken with the author’s cell phone camera. The use of a selfie stick/tripod device aided in the process of capturing those photos. Join in the adventure by cracking the book open and taking in the contents in your mind’s eye.
